Not realizing marriage is hard work, more hard work than a non-marriage relationship. And not putting God first is also a challenging one at that.<br /><br />I don't know if I can agree about the marriages in the 50s and 60s only because things were different back then. The women were slaved in the house cooking, cleaning and taking care of the kids and having no input of anything in the marriage.
